Rational Trigonometry simplifies trigonometric computations by trying to keep the values rational. The idea is described in a book "Divine Proportions" by N.J. Wildberger. This author has also a lot of videos about the subject.
C.a.R. can show distances squared (as a quadrance), and angles as sin(t)^2 instead of t (as a spread). In this case, it is useful to enable fractional display for the object too. Use the properties dialog of the object to enable these representations.
To make the different values visually apparent, line segments are decorated with a long rectangle, and angles -- as straight segments instead of arcs.
